PACIFIC STICKS
Percussion Ensemble

The Pacific Sticks Percussion Ensemble was originally founded in 1976, to present programs of music for percussion in northern California schools. Since then, we have grown to include workshops, residencies, recitals, concerts and recording as part of our regular schedule. Our members perform regularly with major northern California orchestras and also draw on their experience in jazz, ethnic and popular music, and music education. Much of our material comes from Bay Area composers who have written works expressly for us. We most often work as a quartet, but also perform in other combinations for special events.
